So, Zach and I have expressed a few ideas regarding further development of the game, including:

+Addition of a story-based campaign

+Expanding on multiplayer content

+Altering the mechanics of the game to make each ship unique

The purpose of this thread is to brainstorm what we could do to broaden the replay value of the game, and make it a more enjoyable experience overall.

Good idea.

I'd like to add maybe more game modes. One idea I have is this: one or more players are in a large labyrinth-type level, and the idea is to find certain enemies and destroy them. The players would also be enemies. It would be called search and destroy.

That sounds like an ultra competitive form of Gauntlet. In space. I like it.

But then it would have to have space magic and radioactive ghouls. And jetpacks. And less ships.

Zombie ships? Sounds like Reavers from Firefly/Serenity. BTW, I bought an RPG sourcebook for Serenity. It's epic. And very different from D&D.

Hmm. You want to undertake this project? Actually take the time to make a game maker game that's like Gauntlet, but in space? If so, I'm in.
